Job summary

Disc Medicine is seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Development to provide medical leadership across early to late-stage clinical programs. You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape development plans, study design, and regulatory strategies while ensuring patient safety and data integrity.

The role requires hematology/oncology expertise, strong trial oversight, and experience with regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree required.
• Board certification/eligibility in Hematology/Oncology or related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years in clinical research or development in biopharma, CRO, or academia.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and strategic leadership for assigned programs and studies.
• Lead protocol design, endpoints, and development plans with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee safety monitoring, data interpretation, and regulatory submissions.
• Interact with regulatory authorities and prepare scientific communications.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Medical Affairs, and other functions.
