Responsibilities encompass clinical trial planning, medical monitoring, data interpretation, regulatory document support, and cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Clinical Science, Operations, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs. The role involves external engagement with investigators and KOLs, and scientific communication efforts.
MD, DO, or equivalent; board certification or eligibility in Hematology, Oncology, or Internal Medicine preferred; 3-5+ years experience in clinical research or development, with proven trial oversight, medical monitoring, or study physician roles. Strong knowledge of trial methodology, biostatistics, and safety data interpretation required. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate complex data effectively.
Focus on hematology, anemia, iron metabolism; early to late-stage clinical development; experience with regulatory submissions and interactions; potential involvement in clinical, translational medicine, or biomarker strategies.
Hybrid work model based in Watertown, MA with approximately 20-25% travel for meetings, conferences, and external collaborations.
