Job summary

Abbott in Temecula, CA is hiring for an Assembler I in the Vascular Devices division. The role involves assembling, welding, x‑ray inspection, and testing of pacemakers and related components under supervision.

You will follow procedures, inspect parts, and help maintain quality and regulatory compliance in a clean-room environment. Prior experience and strong English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six plus months of relevant training/experience in assembly of digital/analog circuitry or devices.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to use standard hand tools used in assembling bio-instruments/bio-devices.
• Strong reading, writing and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld, x-ray, test and repair medical device components per procedures.
• Inspect parts and assemblies using microscopes and visual inspection.
• Follow FDA regulations and internal SOPs to ensure quality and safety.
