Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Clean Room Assembler / Medical Device Assembler in Irvine, CA. This first‑shift contract‑to‑hire role focuses on assembling urinary catheters, PCB assemblies, and other devices in a controlled clean room, using microscopes and precision tools.

You will read blueprints, follow strict quality guidelines, and collaborate with a small team to meet production goals. The ideal candidate has at least two years of medical device assembly experience and exceptional hand‑eye

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical device assembly experience, preferably in a clean room.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and documents.
• Excellent hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work independently and in a small team.
• Experience using Bluetooth in testing devices.
• Experience with microscopes and general assembly.
• Knowledge of clean room best practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCB assemblies and small parts in a clean room following procedures.
• Assemble catheters and medical devices under a microscope for precision.
• Follow clean room guidelines and maintain a sterile, organized work area.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to perform tasks accurately.
• Inspect finished products visually and under magnification for quality.
• Package medical devices per defined procedures and quality requirements.
• Use computers to connect devices via Bluetooth and run tests.
• Collaborate with team to maintain workflow and meet production goals.
• Communicate defects or process concerns to support continuous improvement.
• Handle glues, epoxies safely; support laser welding tasks if needed.
