Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Assembler in Irvine, CA for 1st/2nd shifts to produce high-quality medical devices in a clean room environment. The role requires operating machinery, following GMPs, and maintaining traceability, including microscope-based inspections and coating balloon catheters.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in medical device manufacturing, and be willing to overtime. This onsite position offers a path to permanent employment after the contract period.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical device manufacturing and microscope-based inspection.
• Formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations.
• Operate equipment to produce medical devices in a GMP environment.
• Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
• Maintain traceability through accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and update relevant job documentation accurately for traceability.
• Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
• Inspect products using a microscope.
• Set up coating machines and coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters.
• Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations and test them.
• Package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
• Identify supplies that need replenishing.
• Build components needed for top-level work orders.
• Complete necessary cleaning activities.
