Job summary

Aerotek in Irvine, CA is seeking an Assembler I for 1st shift in a clean, onsite manufacturing environment. You will perform electro-mechanical and packaging tasks, use basic hand tools, read procedures and drawings, and work with a cross-functional team to meet quality standards.

This contract-to-hire role offers a 4/10 schedule, pay range $20–$26 per hour, and benefits eligible after eligibility. Candidates with 2+ years of medical device assembly and attention to detail fit best; training

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical device assembly experience
• Diploma required
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures
• Competent in working with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively

Responsibilities

• Support GMPs, SOPs, and FDA regulations in daily work
• Adhere to quality assurance programs and safety standards
• Establish and maintain relationships with staff, clients and suppliers
• Work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Learn new equipment and processes and demonstrate proficiency
• Read and interpret manufacturing procedures and inspection procedures
• Monitor own work for accuracy and quality
