Job summary

LifeCenter Northwest in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Medical Data Specialist (MDS) to support the death record review and donation data analysis. You will collect, review, and update data related to the donation process, ensure regulatory compliance, and adhere to SOPs.

The role partners with clinical and ODS leadership, uses EMR systems, and requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on projects while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• At least 1 year of experience relevant to project/program support.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or applicable exemption required upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, update, and analyze donation referral data for DRR accuracy.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to receive death lists and establish EMR access.
• Perform DRR and audits to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Analyze donation trends to identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Support process improvement by assigning variance and error tasks in EMR.
• Assist with training and participate in committees as needed.
