You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate medical services, and ensure compliance with all health-related regulations and standards. You will assess, facilitate, and monitor the medical needs of youth, manage medication administration, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
You will perform nursing assessments, including vital signs, height, weight, and health screenings upon admission and as needed. You will respond promptly to medical complaints, urgent care needs, and emergencies while following established nursing protocols.
You will initiate routine lab tests, ensure required medical assessments are completed, and educate and counsel youth regarding their health status, disease prevention, and treatment plans. You will schedule and track medical, dental, and specialty appointments in compliance with required timelines.
You are a compassionate, dependable, and knowledgeable nursing professional who can remain calm under pressure and provide quality care in a fast‑paced environment. You are organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with youth, staff, medical providers, and other members of the care team. In addition, ideally you are someone who demonstrates strong clinical judgment and nursing skills, communicates effectively in both English and Spanish, and can manage emergencies calmly and effectively. You understand the importance of confidentiality, accurate documentation, and compliance with licensing and ORR requirements.
