Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) is seeking a Health Coordinator for the Early Childhood Development program in Colorado.
The HC will plan, coordinate, and monitor health content areas, ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards (HSPPS) and state regulations at all centers, and lead training for staff, parents, providers, and volunteers. CPLC's Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs are committed to giving every child, regardless of circumstances at birth, an opportunity to succeed in school and life. Provides full-day, full-year early childhood development services to low income children, ages 0-3 years, and their families in educationally-stimulating learning environments.
The Health Coordinator plans, coordinates and monitors compliance for the CPLC ECD Health Content Area for the region. Ensures the Health Content Areas are in compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS), Colorado laws and regulations at all centres in the region. Health Coordinator (HC) plans, develops, and implements training for staff, parents, providers, and volunteers in collaboration with the Nutrition Coordinator. Promotes school readiness by preparing children and families for school and life success as it relates to this position. Actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times and in all environments. Maintains all health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment. Facilitates health practices to keep children safe in the school bus, outdoor and indoor environments.
