Job summary

Rylem Staffing seeks a Medical Collections Specialist to manage healthcare collection activities, resolve patient and insurance accounts, and support timely reimbursement while maintaining excellent patient service.

The role requires 3–5 years of healthcare billing/collections experience, knowledge of hospital A/R and insurance claims, and proficiency with Word & Excel. Meditech or CollectLogix experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of healthcare billing/collections or collection agency experience.
• Medical collections experience with Active A/R & Bad Debt.
• Experience with insurance, self-pay, and physician billing/collections.
• Strong knowledge of hospital A/R and insurance claims/reimbursement.
• Experience handling appeals, under/overpayments, and account resolution.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word & Excel.
• Meditech and CollectLogix experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
