Job summary

The ideal candidate has two years’ coding/reimbursement experience, a current AAPC/AHIMA certification, and attention to detail in a fast-paced health-system environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of coding/reimbursement experience in healthcare setting.
• Must include procedural and diagnosis coding.
• Current coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA to stay current.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD codes.
• Enter charges from fee sheets or EMR.
• Ensure accurate and timely code assignments across all sites.
