Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in coding or related billing/revenue integrity.
• CCS-P or CPC certification required from AHIMA or AAPC.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM coding conventions and CPT rules.
• Selects and sequences diagnoses/procedures with current CPT/ICD-10-CM resources.
• Follow up on charges held for clearance and resolve coding issues with Billing team.
• Perform month-end tasks and generate reports for centers.
• Educate physicians on billing and documentation practices.
• Conduct audits of professional fees and documentation.
