Giving Home Health Care is seeking a Medical Technical Writer to translate complex medical information into clear documentation for claims, DME, and Home Health Care requests. The role requires reviewing medical records, identifying relevant details, and producing high-quality LMNs and narratives to support medical necessity and timely approvals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting required, preferably in medical writing or claims documentation.
• Experience reviewing medical records and translating clinical information into clear documentation.
• Familiarity with healthcare benefits, claims processes, or government programs preferred.
• Knowledge of the DEEOIC program is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to synthesize health science literature.

Responsabilités

• Prepare high-quality LMNs, medical narratives, and supporting materials.
• Manage a high-volume workload, producing 50–60 letters per month with quality and timeliness.
• Review patient records to identify diagnoses, treatments, and functional information.
• Translate clinical data into compelling documentation establishing medical necessity.
• Support successful claim outcomes by ensuring documentation aligns with program requirements.
• Collaborate with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams to fill information gaps.
• Maintain professional communication to guide patients through the claims process.
• Ensure all materials meet organizational policies and medical accuracy.
