Job summary

Professional Case Management (PCM) seeks a Temp Clinical Letter Writer to support Home Care, Clinical Research, Impairments, or Catastrophic Care divisions. You will gather and review client medical records and draft medical necessity letters for Department of Labor authorizations, serving a diverse caseload.

Requirements include RN licensure, at least two years of healthcare experience, and excellence in writing, editing, and communication.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure preferred.
• Minimum of two years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing and oral communication skills.
• Strong research skills and ability to translate clinical details into documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write draft letters of medical necessity for authorization and recertification of client care.
• Review authorization and recertification paperwork and communicate with team for clarifications.
• Research diagnoses and treatment strategies related to client conditions to inform correspondence.
