Job summary

Giving Home Health Care seeks a Medical Technical Writer to develop accurate medical and claims documentation supporting health services, DME, and HHC requests. You will translate complex medical data into clear narratives while maintaining high-quality documentation for up to 500 patients with timely communication with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes professional, compassionate patient engagement and collaboration with clinicians, caregivers, and internal teams within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Biology, Nursing, Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting required
• Experience reviewing medical records and translating clinical information into clear written documentation preferred
• Familiarity with DEEOIC Program preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality medical documentation: LMNs, medical narratives, and claims documentation.
• Manage a high-volume workload: 50–60 letters per month with quality and turnaround targets.
• Review medical records to identify diagnoses, treatments, functional limitations, and clinical information.
• Translate clinical information into compelling documentation establishing medical necessity.
• Support claim outcomes by aligning with program requirements for eligibility.
