Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Medical Center Receptionist Float to travel among offices, delivering excellent patient experience. You will handle patient relations, clerical duties, reception, referrals, registration, and support billing and collections as assigned.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 2–3 years in ambulatory health care, knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA, and EMR experience (Epic preferred). Must adapt to multiple teams and settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in an ambulatory health care facility.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records; Epic preferred.
• Familiarity with third-party payers; ICD-9 and CPT coding a plus.
• Ability to adapt to multiple offices and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients.
• Handle reception, scheduling, registration, referrals, and related clerical tasks.
• Assist with billing and collections as assigned.
