Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on Washington State's North Olympic Peninsula is seeking a customer service focused team member for the central call center. You will manage incoming calls, route messages, and schedule appointments across provider clinics and hospital outpatient departments.

Required is a high school diploma; prior customer service or call center experience and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred. This 100% FTE day shift position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer Service, Reception or Call Center experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service according to Olympic Medical Center standards.
• Manages incoming phone calls and messages from a central call center for all OMP provider-based clinics and Hospital Outpatient Departments, as assigned.
• Documents telephone messages into EHR and routes them to appropriate departments.
• Schedules appointments.
• Answers inquiries.
