Tru Medical is a primary care and women's health practice in Brooklyn seeking a Call Center Representative. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments in eClinicalWorks, and maintain clear patient records.

This on-site, full-time role requires 1+ year in medical office or call center, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and reliable attendance. Training and a clear career ladder are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a medical office, call center or customer service role.
• Medical scheduling experience is a strong plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Comfortable on the phone all day, with a calm, friendly, professional manner.
• Accurate typing and documentation; chart must reflect what happened.
• Reliable attendance and on-time arrival; full coverage during open hours.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks, Zocdoc or healow is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Inbound (half your day): answer patient calls, schedule and reschedule appointments in eClinicalWorks, offer same-day or next-day visits first, and handle online booking requests and patient texts.
• Outbound (the other half): confirm upcoming appointments, call patients who cancelled or missed a visit to rebook them, and work patient recall lists from a clear daily plan.
• Document every call accurately in the patient's chart (telephone encounter).
• Help with insurance follow-up calls flagged by our billing team, referrals and faxes.
• Cover the front desk occasionally for lunches and absences, after training.
