Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise department work assignments and staffing levels.
• Monitor work lists to verify tasks meet turnaround times (TAT).
• Conduct staff meetings for onshore and offshore team members.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss process flows and billing issues.
• Conduct monthly quality audits on domestic and offshore staff.
• Measure productivity against targets.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, and appraise staff contributions.
• Review timesheets and monitor overtime.
• Resolve unusual or difficult insurer claim issues.
• Recommend process improvements based on analysis.
• Keep staff updated on SOPs and policy changes; communicate updates to management.
• Develop staff in resolving complex billing questions.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Assist department manager in planning tasks and resources.
• This position is remote or hybrid at management discretion; occasional in-person meetings.
• Represent the department in the manager's absence.
