First Choice Urgent Care in Livonia, MI is seeking a full-time Data Entry Specialist to support patient data capture and billing operations. You will enter patient and visit details into the Athena EMR, verify insurance, and assist with claim processing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical billing, coding or AR management preferred.
• Familiarity with payer types including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Proficient in using multiple platforms for eligibility checks and claim submission.
• Strong data entry speed with high accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Enter patient and visit information into EMR Athena.
• Support billing operations including claim corrections.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage.
• Manage outstanding accounts receivable workflows.
• Communicate with billing staff and insurers as needed.
• Provide administrative support to ensure clinic operations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
