Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Reimbursement Coordinator to manage front end coding and billing for self-pay and insurance receivables. The role includes obtaining authorizations, CPT/ICD coding, charge entry, and insurance billing, while monitoring productivity and reporting trends to the Manager.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of medical practice experience; proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure front end coding and billing systems for resolution of self-pay and insurance receivables.
• Obtain insurance authorizations; CPT and ICD coding; charge entry; insurance billing.
• Monitor productivity and generate reports; report trends to Manager.
