Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Reimbursement Coordinator to manage front end coding and billing for self-pay and insurance receivables. The role includes obtaining authorizations, CPT/ICD coding, charge entry, and insurance billing, while monitoring productivity and reporting trends to the Manager.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of medical practice experience; proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Reimbursement Coordinator ensures that all front end coding and billing systems are in place for the resolution of all self pay and insurance receivables including, but not limited to, obtaining insurance authorizations; CPT and ICD coding.; charge entry; insurance billing; monitoring productivity; and resolving daily, weekly, and monthly reports; reports trends to the Manager.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required
