Job summary

Meduit is seeking a Medical Customer Service Representative in onsite location at 135 South State College, Suite 500, Brea, CA 92821. You'll guide patients through medical bills, helping them understand financial responsibility and enabling our clients to focus on patient care.

Working hours are 9:30am–6:00pm PT, Monday through Friday, with four weeks of paid training. You will take inbound and make outbound calls regarding balances, set up payment plans, document conversations, and strive to

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous call center experience (In-office or Remote).
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Proficiency with PC-based applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Helping patients understand financial responsibility in a helpful and non-threatening manner.
• Taking inbound and making outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances.
• Meeting or exceeding established metric goals.
• Following established procedures to resolve patient account balances.
• Identifying consumer payment plans.
• Utilizing call scripts provided.
• Setting up consumer payments over the phone.
• Documenting all conversations electronically on company and/or client systems.
• Assisting patients in determining eligibility for financial assistance programs and/or bank loans when applicable.
