Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Benefits Administration and working knowledge of Insurance plans and terminology.
• Experience with FMLA processes and related documentation.
• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex benefits information in a clear, patient-friendly manner.
• Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical office.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, medical office, or insurance environment preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing systems is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in medical billing, coding, or benefits administration is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Manage patient insurance benefits including verifying coverage and explaining benefits.
• Coordinate pre-authorizations for medical services and assist with claims questions.
• Review and interpret insurance plans and assist with benefits documentation.
