Job summary

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) seeks an Associate Medical Assisting Program Director to support the MA program. You will oversee curriculum development, supervise instructional staff, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

This role partners with the program director to expand offerings, recruit and develop instructors, and maintain a supportive learning environment that helps students succeed in healthcare careers.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in medical assisting.
• Current Medical Assisting Certification and CPR Certification. 3+ years of direct patient care experience.
• Preferred: Teaching experience or a passion for training and mentoring future medical professionals. Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum development and program improvement.
• Supervise instructional staff and provide ongoing professional development.
• Monitor student progress and ensure accreditation compliance.
• Support staff recruitment and instructor development.
• Maintain accurate records and provide student advising.
