Job summary

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) in Houston, TX seeks a Program Director for the Medical Assistant program. You will develop, maintain, and deliver the core curriculum, prepare course plans, and supervise staff to ensure academic quality.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress and attendance, advising students, reporting grades, and ensuring accreditation compliance. CMA/RMA credentials and an Associate degree with three years of related experience are required; MA teaching

Qualifications

• CMA and RMA certifications required
• Associate degree with at least three years of relevant field experience
• Preferred MA instructor experience
• Preferred 5+ years of field experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver the core curriculum for the MA program
• Prepare course plans and materials
• Supervise staff and oversight of the MA Program
• Monitor and manage student progress and attendance
• Student advising and grade reporting
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and institutional accreditation standards
