Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician to support physicians in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will measure vital signs, interview patients, and help prepare them for exams while communicating essential information to clinicians.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA/PCT/EMT/Paramedic experience, CPR/BLS certification, and EMR familiarity. Evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be required to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as MA, PCT, EMT or Paramedic.
• BLS certification required; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs.
• Record patient interview and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physician.
• Explain treatment procedures and physician instructions to patient.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and clinicians.
• Collect phlebotomy specimens and perform basic waived labs.
• Assist with medications and dressings under physician supervision.
