Job summary

TexomaCare, part of IPM and Universal Health Services, seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient examinations and treatment in Denison, Texas. You will interview patients, record vital signs, perform venipuncture, and help prepare examination rooms while ensuring accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or 1 year of MA experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with patient check-in/out per clinic protocol.
• General medical office procedures.
• Understand end-of-day cash balancing and charge reconciliation.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Interview patients and record vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and other procedures as directed.
• Document in Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Assist at front desk as required.
