ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Central Oregon is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinics in Redmond, Prineville, and Madras. The MA will manage patient flow, perform triage, and assist physicians with procedures while upholding privacy and high standards of care.

Required: high school diploma or GED, current MA certification, and knowledge of ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS coding and HIPAA. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates with relevant experience.

Qualifikationen

• Must have basic knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions and procedures.
• Working knowledge of medical practice management information systems.
• Basic knowledge of physician office documentation standards.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and meet all HIPAA requirements.
• NHA certification holders with work experience require one year of Medical Assisting experience.
• Preferred: 2 years of Medical Assisting experience.

Aufgaben

• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares for physician assessment.
• Records and maintains patient medical data in the chart.
• Assists physician with telephone requests from patients and other professionals.
• Performs physician-requested ancillary and/or surgical procedures (excluding IV meds).
• Maintains equipment and supplies inventory.
• Delivers safe, confidential patient care aligned with organizational values.
