Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions and procedures.
• Working knowledge of medical practice management information systems.
• Basic knowledge of physician office documentation standards.
• Must meet HIPAA requirements and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prep for physician assessment.
• Record and maintain patient's medical data in the chart.
• Assist physician with phone requests from patients and professionals.
• Perform ancillary and/or surgical procedures as requested (excluding IV meds).
• Maintain equipment and inventory levels.
• Deliver safe, professional patient care and support organization values.
