American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a Medical Assistant to greet and triage patients, perform venipuncture, run CLIA-waived testing, and support front desk tasks including insurance verification and registration. Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active national MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• At least 1+ year of experience with insurance verification and patient registration preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain before starting).

Aufgaben

• Greet and triage patients, collect vitals/histories, venipuncture and point-of-care testing.
• Register patients, verify insurance eligibility, determine financial responsibility and collect co-pays.
• Educate patients on procedures and financial expectations, provide discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance logs and support infection-control and HIPAA standards.
