Job summary

Sentara Medical Group is hiring Qualified Medical Assistants for the Urgent Care Float Pool. Candidates must hold CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic credentials. This full-time Float Pool role covers Urgent Care locations across Virginia Beach and Norfolk, with possible travel to Elizabeth City.

Standard hours are Swing Shift 8a-8p, including every other weekend and 3 of 6 holidays. Compensation includes travel and schedule flexibility with 80 hours bi-weekly across 12-, 8-, and 6-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic.
• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Overview

This is a full-time Float Pool position. This position will cover Urgent Care Locations in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. May require travel to Elizabeth City.

Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Experience

• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience
