Job summary

Cedar Point Health in Delta, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant/Clinical Aide to support providers in delivering patient care and coordinating pre-visit planning. You will assist with exams, take vitals, prepare rooms, and help with EKGs and injections while maintaining clinical quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
• Experience in a physician's office or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and staff.
• Willingness to cover at different locations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient electronic medical records.
• Prepares patients for examination and treatment, including vitals and room setup.
• Assists with injections and EKGs, and supports OB/GYN and other tests as needed.
• Triages, schedules same-day appointments, and responds to patient communications.
• Maintains medication records and responds to medication requests per protocol.
• Supports patient education and self-management and maintains positive relationships with care teams.
