Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examination and treatment by escorting to exam room and taking vitals.
• Prepares, cleans, and maintains exam and treatment rooms with stock.
• Gives injections and assists with EKGs, OB/GYN exams and other tests.
• Maintains sample medication records and processes medication orders per protocol.
• Triages, schedules same-day appointments, and responds to patient communication.
• Assists providers with patient education and self-management.
• Liaises with outside caregivers, insurance carriers, labs, hospitals and pharmacies.
• Performs other related work as required.
