Job summary

Nao Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment in New York. You will assist with procedures, document patient information, and ensure smooth patient flow from check-in to checkout.

Ideal candidates hold CMA or related certifications, BLS and Infection Control credentials, and experience using EMR systems in HIPAA-compliant settings.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required; EKG or Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Active BLS and Infection Control certifications required.
• Experience documenting in EMR and HIPAA compliant workflows.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, document chief complaints, and record vital signs.
• Perform point-of-care testing including EKG and phlebotomy.
• Assist providers with minor procedures and maintain sterile environments.
• Coordinate patient flow with staff and support front-desk tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and prepare exam rooms for next patient.
