Qualifications

• CMA, EKG, or Phlebotomy certification is required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Infection Control certification.
• Ability to document in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document chief complaints, vital signs, and prepare specimens.
• Perform point-of-care testing such as EKGs and phlebotomy; prep laboratory samples.
• Assist licensed providers with minor procedures and maintain sterilization and HIPAA-compliant charting.
