Job summary

Nao Medical, a modern multi-specialty healthcare network in New York, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will perform phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care assistance, and procedural support while leveraging an EMR system to maintain accurate patient records.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork with licensed providers, and active participation in a fast-paced clinic environment with competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), EKG Certification, or Phlebotomy Certification.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Active Infection Control Certification.
• Fully comfortable documenting in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication skills, deep empathy, and a collaborative team mindset.
• Previous experience in urgent and primary care (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, document chief complaints, and record vital signs.
• Perform point-of-care testing, including EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Assist Licensed Providers with minor clinical procedures and maintain sterile spaces.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support front-desk ops, patient registration, and scheduling follow-ups.
