Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead the Medical Assistant team at Columbine Family Practice. This role combines back-office patient care with people leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, participate in interviews, conduct evaluations, and ensure HIPAA compliance while fostering a positive team environment. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8–5 with occasional weekend needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (MA).
• National CMA strongly preferred.
• Current BLS card. EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Medical Assistant staff.
• Create and maintain scheduling for Medical Assistant staff.
• Hire staff by conducting interviews and coordinating onboarding.
• Coach Medical Assistant staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; maintain clinic policies.
