Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking an outstanding Medical Assistant Supervisor for Columbine Family Practice. This role oversees Medical Assistant staff, coordinates scheduling, and serves as a liaison between management and clinical teams. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8–5 with occasional weekend needs.

The ideal candidate has MA certification, CMA preferred, and strong EMR skills. Experience with staff leadership and compliance with HIPAA/OSHA is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Maintain certifications per state guidelines.
• National CMA certification strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Medical Assistant staff and operations.
• Create and maintain staff scheduling.
• Hire staff through interviews and onboarding.
• Conduct performance evaluations and staff development.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance; maintain patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with Practice Manager on disciplinary actions.
• Lead team meetings and ensure clinic policies are followed.
