Job summary

Marana Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead our MA team at the Marana Main Health Center in Marana, AZ. This role provides supervision, mentorship, and operational oversight to MA staff across primary and specialty services.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a Medical Assistant, CMA/RMA certification, and EMR experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to support efficient workflows and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of ABHES/CAAHEP MA program or accredited equivalent.
• 2+ years as Medical Assistant with EMR experience.
• Current CMA or RMA certification from an accredited body.
• BLS certification (may be completed on hire).
• First Aid certification (may be completed on hire).
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to MA staff across clinics.
• Coordinate scheduling, workflow coverage, and staffing needs.
• Mentor and train MA staff; ensure ongoing competency.
• Uphold regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians to improve patient care and experience.
• Act as liaison between MA team and clinicians.
