Marana Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead the Medical Assistant staff at the Marana Main Health Center, AZ. The role provides operational oversight of clinical support workflows and collaborates with clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care across services.

The position emphasizes mentoring, scheduling, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement to support efficient patient experiences in a Federally Qualified Community Health Center environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant
• EMR experience
• CMA or RMA certification
• BLS certification (may be completed with MH upon hire)
• First Aid certification (may be completed with MH upon hire)
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ)
• Valid AZ driver's license with clean MVR
• Knowledge of patient care across primary care, specialty, clinical, and behavioral health services

Aufgaben

• Provides operational oversight and supervision of day-to-day MA functions and clinical support workflows to ensure efficient and effective patient care operations.
• Coordinates MA schedules, staffing assignments, and workflow coverage across sites and service areas.
• Ensures orientation, mentoring, competency validation and ongoing training for MA staff.
• Ensures activities are carried out in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as a liaison between clinicians and the MA team.
• Leads or participates in committees, quality initiatives, and special projects.
