Job summary

Marana Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Medical team at the Marana Main Health Center in Marana, AZ. The CMA will support clinicians and staff to deliver high‑quality patient care in a community health setting.

The role requires completion of an ABHES/CAAHEP‑accredited MA program, CMA or RMA certification, EMR experience, and a valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean record. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current CMA or RMA certification from an accredited organization.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• BLS certification, may be completed with MH upon hire.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Arizona driver’s license with clean record and valid vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient care, examinations, and procedures.
• Complete daily operational tasks in the patient care area.
• Obtain and document patient consent prior to treatments and procedures.
• Record vital signs and medical history in patient charts.
• Administer tests and injections as ordered by clinicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies and procedures.
• Restock and prepare exam rooms and manage supplies.
• Assist with immunization data entry and follow‑ups as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
