Job summary

Marana Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Medical team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in Marana, AZ. The Medical Assistant supports clinicians and staff in patient care to promote health and well-being.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, ABHES/CAAHEP MA program or equivalent, EMR experience, and BLS certification. Arizona fingerprint clearance and a valid driver’s license are required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ABHES/CAAHEP MA program or equivalent (or accredited equivalent).
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• BLS certification (may be completed with MH on hire).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona).
• Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record and 39‑month MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Supports clinicians with patient care, examinations, and procedures.
• Completes daily patient care area tasks and documentation.
• Obtains patient consent prior to treatments and procedures.
• Records vital signs, medical history, and preventive requirements.
• Performs tests ordered by clinician (EKG, spirometry, injections).
• Maintains infection control and medication handling standards.
• Maintains supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
