Marana Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor for the Marana Main Health Center in Marana, AZ. You will lead and mentor MA staff, oversee clinical workflows, and ensure high-quality patient care across services.

The role partners with clinicians to optimize operations and patient experience in a federally qualified health center environment. Ideal candidates will have MA certification, EMR experience, BLS/First Aid, and a valid AZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of MA experience required.
• Must graduate from ABHES/CAAHEP accredited MA program or equivalent.
• EMR experience required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
• BLS certification (may be completed with MH on hire) and First Aid (may be completed with MH on hire).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required (Arizona).
• Arizona driver’s license with clean record and 39-month MVR check.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and supervision to MA staff.
• Oversee day-to-day MA functions and clinical support workflows.
• Coordinate MA schedules and staffing across sites.
• Mentor and train MA staff; ensure competency and ongoing education.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as liaison between clinicians and MA team.
• Support patient care and assist clinicians with procedures.
• Identify workflow improvements and implement changes.
• Maintain accurate patient records per policy.
