Job summary

Marana Health in Marana, AZ seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians and care teams at the Marana Main Health Center. The CMA will perform patient care tasks, take vitals, document histories, assist with procedures, manage exam rooms, and uphold infection control and regulatory standards.

Candidates should graduate from an ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited MA program, hold CMA or RMA, have EMR experience, BLS, Arizona fingerprint clearance, and a valid AZ driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of ABHES/CAAHEP MA program or equivalent.
• Current CMA or RMA certification
• Experience with EMR systems
• BLS certification (may be completed on hire)
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona)
• Arizona driver's license with clean record and vehicle insurance; 39-month MVR check

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient care, examinations, and procedures.
• Obtain vital signs and document medical history.
• Document consent and maintain patient charts.
• Process lab tests and administer medications as ordered.
• Maintain exam rooms and manage inventory and supplies.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance in daily work.
• Communicate with patients and coordinate care.
