Job summary

USA Clinics Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic workflow, while supporting physicians in procedures before, during, and after. You will ensure patients have an excellent service experience.

Position supports West Valley City and Holladay clinics with a schedule Monday-Thursday and occasional Friday; compensation is $21-$24/hour, with full benefits and clinical training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection within scope.
• Accurately document patient interactions in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing high patient volumes.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks or similar).
• Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, hospitals, or home health.
• Leverage bilingual skills to support patient interactions where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required.

• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
