McLaren Health Care in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical procedures. The role involves gathering patient history, preparing visits, administering injections and venipuncture, and supporting clerical tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The schedule is full-time with a typical shift from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Starting wages range, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires and certification through CMA or RMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with six months experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
• For clinics with Rural Health Designation, BLS within 6 months of hire

Responsabilités

• Responds to patient needs promptly and courteously.
• Cooperates and communicates with patients, families and staff.
• Assists with maintaining quality improvement efforts.
• Prepares examining rooms and stocks supplies.
• Documents interventions, vitals and medications in charts.
• Administers EKGs, PFTs, immunizations and draws blood as directed.
