We are seeking an individual with a clinical and administrative background, and exceptional organizational skills to become a part of our team!


Position Overview:

Your responsibility will include various administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

  • The ability to multi-task is a must.
  • This is an entry-level part-time position that requires approximately 30 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine clinical tasks as a part of the support medical staff.
  • Communicate with chronic care patients via patient portal regularly.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare charts, obtain accurate vital signs, EKG, and other tasks after training.
  • Handle all administrative and clerical duties including front desk work, scheduling, recalls, reminder calls, prior authorizations, and answering patient calls.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to secure prior authorizations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a medical assistant and front desk duties is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good with EMR.
  • Compassionate nature with good interpersonal skills with patients.
  • A kind and professional phone demeanor.
