Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time Pulmonary team member in Franklin, Wisconsin. The role involves assisting physicians and nurses, interviewing patients, taking vital signs, and maintaining treatment rooms while handling essential clerical duties in a busy clinical setting.

The position supports 24 hours per week on day shifts, with a focus on patient care and accurate record-keeping. BLS is required within 30 days; CCMA is preferred, and education is High School diploma or equivalent or one year

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• CCMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments and clinical duties.
• Interview patients to record medical history and measure vital signs for charting.
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms; ensure medical supplies are stocked.
• Manage clerical tasks including phone correspondence, record maintenance and filing.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• 24 hours a week | Between M-F | No weekends or major holidays
