Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team and support a primary care physician in delivering high-quality patient care. The MA will handle front-desk tasks and clinical duties, ensuring patient flow, accurate documentation, and a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Work with labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination.
• Record data accurately in the medical record and communicate results.
